First I have to say that Squarespace is awesome! It just works and it's super fast! I'm amazed at the innovation and design thus far. They make it super easy to piece together a website and give you the freedom to do what you like too. I'm pleased and I think it will be a well needed change for me. 

Well, the site is coming along pretty good so far as I learn more & more about the features. I have about 3 more galleries of photos to add and I plan to add a music player featuring artists I have worked with too. Basically like I had on the previous site but much cooler. ; )

And with the ease of use I think I'm going to be able to post a lot more updates like blogs for example. I plan to start using Vimeo for my video blogs that I hope to continue to do too. Hopefully soon Squarespace will be releasing their iPhone app as well. That will be really helpful especially since I will be getting the new iPhone on June 19th! Woohoo!! 

Anyway, this is just a short update and I'm excited about a lot of the changes that I've been making in my life recently. And the addition of my new Squarespace site is just one of them! I will be blogging more about the other changes soon. : )

Welcome to the new KevShots.com! 

I have decided to go with a simpler blog style of website instead of the Flashy site before. Granted at first look this site might not be as flamboyant but in the long run it will be a better choice for me I think. I believe the navigation alone will be so much easier for my visitors to get around the site and see my work. The new site also adds so much more flexibility and room for improvements & updates as I learn more about editing it. I didn't have that before with the Flash website. 

Squarespace is the new company I'm using for this site and so far I'm very impressed with the usability and ease of design updating. Pretty much anything is possible and all without knowing HTML & other website languages. That's a plus since I can do more updating! 

Also with Squarespace I'm able to integrate my blog, links, testimonials, photos, proofs, etc. into a one-stop site. I like that and one of the main reasons I decided to make the change. And soon they are releasing a cool new application for the iPhone! I can't wait to try that out. All this combined will hopefully help motivate me to make more updates to my sites! : )
