Thanks for visiting the world of KevShots! I hope you like what you see. 

I've been working in the music scene for the majority of 2007-2009 since music is also a strong passion of mine but this year I've really started diving into more creative work & other areas of photography. I'm very much inspired my cinematography and motion pictures. I believe photos should tell a story. I love shooting people so the environment around that person can tell a story too along with the expression they give. This is why I only shoot on location. Studio shoots can be quite boring in my opinion. Capturing people for who they are is my philosophy and I'm not much into strict artificial poses. When someone is comfortable or not comfortable, then it will show in the final product. This is one reason I like to meet with my clients in advance of a shoot. 

Besides doing artist promotion in the music scene, I also enjoy high fashion, swimsuit, kids, simple but old portraits (like paintings that tell a story) and horror (when done right). Weird mix huh?! Well, my interests are very diverse and I like to always try to think outside the box a little bit. Before you ask, I don't do weddings or senior pictures. I will do engagement photos though because they are less stressful and I can be more creative. I rarely shoot groups or family portraits also. It's harder to be creative with those shots and tougher to get everyone coordinated. So I definitely prefer working with people one-on-one.

I'm a little slow sometimes at updating my sites since I'm always shooting & editing but keep checking back for something new. I'm always updating my Blog (in the menu bar above) with what's going on in my life especially as far as the photography work is concerned.
