Creative people were born in August...

Not sure how long this one will be but I wanted to post one really quick if I can. Everyone knows how lengthy I get with blogs. I need to do some more video blogs soon too! So much to do with so little time...

Anyway, this month is starting to get really booked for me. I'm meeting some great people too. And even though I'm getting swamped with work, shoots, and very little time.... I'm handling it pretty good because there is no pressure to do something I'm not really wanting to do to begin with. I hate deadlines! It's all work that I chose because I really want to work with these people and the feeling is mutual. Time to start creating something really awesome! :)

This morning I met a great model by the name of Samantha who contacted me a few days ago on Model Mayhem because she really liked my portfolio. It's always a good feeling especially when it comes from people who could potentially work with anyone because of the work they have created already and they chose me. This stuff inspires me sooooo much! It helps working with people who have the experience too and they just want to do something new & different. Anyway, our shoot is on the 17th! I can't wait!

Side note: my birthday is actually on the 16th! So I took vacation time away from my regular job on the 17th & 18th. I will post my typical yearly birthday blog as it gets closer stating a lot of cool facts and my opinion of what I have accomplished in my sum of 32 years. 

I'm leaving here shortly to hang with my friend Katha Harris & her sister who is in town from Texas at Arrington Vineyards. I have never been there before but it should be fun. Just chilling with friends, wine, and good music. Last night was Katha's first official round at The Bluebird Cafe. Her sister shot this video at her request with my iPhone since she was in a better spot in the sandbox. haha.... I did the editing and titling. 

Katha & I did a photo shoot not too long ago for her new upcoming album which we're all excited about. See the blog I wrote about the shoot. Anyway later this week we're getting together to choose the initial shots to use for the album. I'm looking forward to showing you what we have accomplished! 

Well I guess that's about it for now. I need to get ready to head to the vineyards and then later tonight I'm meeting with friends to watch UFC at Jonny's! 

UPDATE: Well, I didn't end up making it to Jonny's after the vineyards unfortunately. I made the mistake of not having a full dinner before doing all that wine drinking. It was a fun time to say the least. haha... Arrington Vineyards is pretty cool. They're doing very well after two years of being open. It was started by Kix Brooks along with a few businessmen and a winemaker from the vineyards in Clarksville. Here's a shot of us from the wine tasting:

Tomorrow is another day of location scouting for an upcoming shoot..... woohoo! Not sure how much editing I'm going to get done this weekend unfortunately. We'll see.......
